OASIS is an initiative of 4xHEIs, 1xResearch Center, 1xpan-EU Network of Institutions and
2xEnterprises. It aims to develop and share support capabilities in the area of OPEN SCIENCE (OS)
driving EUs digital transformation and sustainable development. The project is about facilitating the
adoption of OS technologies in education through practical applications, training and mentoring
activities for managing real educational & labour oriented problems with a view to increase openness
and not closed intellectual property. OASIS project has the following main objectives: develop and
strengthen technology transfer processes; enhance entrepreneurial education with OS technologies;
strengthen Open Science technology and knowledge transfer partnerships; empower the next
generation of innovators; improve the impact framework of OS technology transfer.
OASIS will take place over 24 months, in three stages: (i) capacity building; design of the digital
educational environment, development of resource and scenarios of training and mentoring; (ii)
technical actions; development and evaluation of platforms (education, marketplace, matchmaking);
(iii) scale-up, transferability of results and sustainability of OASIS expected impacts.
