This Project is aiming to provide particular knowledge on spatial planning and science for policies, practical knowledge and tools for the Adriatic local and regional communities wanting to plan resilience on climate change and improve their adaptation capacity. Better prepared cities and regions will increase the safety of their citizens and the resilience of their territory, assets and ecosystems. Also it is aiming to provide adaptation options that are exploiting new opportunities arising from changed climate conditions and favour the transformative change of society towards more sustainable systems.The main outputs that are expected from the project are adaptation of spatial planning processes along with the improvement of available climate related knowledge by developing the joint IT-HR Strategic Guidelines on Spatial Planning Process Adaptation (SG); Higher education curriculum for lifelong learning for climate transition developed and climate change adaptation plans developed for Croatian and Italian pilot project areas.
